What we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, phone number, state, and your answers when you fill out a form on our website, request a guide, book a strategy session, or fill out one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram.
- Information you share to get help with coverage: for example household details, the doctors you want to keep, or prescriptions you take. We ask only for what we need to find the right plan for you.
- Basic website information: like the pages you visit and the type of device or browser you use, which helps us improve the site.
How we use it
- To send you what you asked for, like our free guides.
- To answer your questions, schedule your strategy session, and prepare quotes and recommendations.
- To follow up by email or text about health insurance options, plan updates, and our newsletter. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet our legal and licensing obligations.
How we share it
We never sell your personal information. We share it only when we need to in order to serve you:
- With insurance companies, plan administrators, and general agencies when you ask us to quote or enroll you in a plan.
- With service providers who run our website, customer records, email, text messaging, and scheduling, who may use it only to provide those services to us.
- With advertising partners like Meta, only to measure how our ads perform, as described below.
- When the law requires it.
Cookies and ad measurement
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), along with cookies, to see which of our ads bring people to the site and whether they request one of our guides. It records things like the pages you visit and that a form was sent. We do not send Meta your name, email, phone number, form answers, or any health information.
You can manage how ads are shown to you in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your request and our services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop at any time.
Health information
If you share health details with us to help find the right coverage, we use them only to serve you and share them only with the insurance companies or administrators involved in your quote or enrollment.
Keeping your information safe
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data is 100% secure, so we also limit what we collect to what we truly need.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Just email christine@kiefferinsurance.net or call (561) 660-9894.
Children
Our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date.
